Nokia N Gage
Is it a phone? Is it a game machine? Whatever it is, it's obsolete. An experiment gone kaput, the Nokia N Gage
is a quirky phone/game system centered around the concept of head-to-head wireless competition. The problem is, it's so tough to find someone else with an N Gage that you'll spend most of the time competing against the computer in a library of weak, toned down games. Making mattersĀ worse, publishers have stopped making games for the system. The screen is slightly smaller than on the other handheld gaming consoles, but it still costs about the same as the Nintendo GameBoy Micro
(around $100). One advantage the N Gage has over the Nintendo handhelds is that the battery life, which is about twice that of those in the GameBoy line. It also has Bluetooth and a speakerphone, which actually means that you can download MP3 file playing programs and listen to music. You can download movie playback software as well.
