Looking at the N Gage lineup, it's little surprise why the system never quite took off and now lingers in the netherworld of video game obscurity. A system lives and dies by its software, and the sad fact is no truly brilliant game was ever made for the N Gage. The fact is all the more disappointing because the system had such potential as a competitive multiplayer force. Here's a look at awsome of the few solid N Gage games in existence.
Glimmerati -- In a life simulation akin to The Sims, you play as a jet-setter intent on becoming the most popular player in town and landing on the cover of gossip magazines. This is a game Paris Hilton would play if she had an N Gage instead of a Sidekick.
Roots: Gates of Chaos -- Sword and sorcery are the orders of the day in this fantasy epic, reminiscent of Gauntlet. Use magic and strength to save the realm from evil.
Moto GP -- The "moto" is short for "motorcycle" and the "GP" is short for grand prix. See how that works? Hit the track for some racing action, no license needed.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater -- This is a transport of the skating title that launched a still-thriving franchise on other consoles. Pile up massive points with inventive combo tricks and try to avoid tumbling over in disgrace.
