Aggressive Skating

Aggressive Skating refers to any of a number of inline related sports.  Aggressive skating is, essentially, trick skating, using ramps, half-pipes, railings, curbs, or other obstacles or objects to interact with while on skates.  Aggressive skates are different from other inline skates.  They are characterized by a high, padded boot, small wheels, and reinforced wheel frames.  Because aggressive skating  requires participants to thrown themselves at fixtures of metal, concrete, and wood, protection is important.  A helmet and knee pads are recommended for even the most expert aerialists, while beginners need to think about adding wrist protection and elbow guards to that list.  The proper padding will help ward of the inevitable scrapes and bruises, but can also prevent broken limbs and more serious injuries.
