Shoes.com has helped me out tremendously. Having big feet and a preference for Birkenstocks makes it difficult to locate footwear - online or in person. Shoes.com, however, e-mails me regularly with specials and ALWAYS carries the shoes I want. They have a huge selection of brands, free returns, and frequently offer free shipping. They also participate in EBATES (www.ebates.com) - which offers a 10% cash back option in addition to other perks. As long as you're sure of your shoe size, ordering from Shoes.com makes a lot of sense! (and even if you're not, they'll foot - ha ha - the return bill)

They may be good for US customers, but beware if you live overseas. They fulfill through Comerxia, and the customer service is absolutely terrible. Shoes.com either don't want, or can't, get any information on delivery schedules, and Comerxia are totally unresponsive. It's three weeks since I placed the order. They can't tell me where the shoes are or when they are likely to be deliver - only that they are "en route to the International Hub". I may or may not buy from them again, depending on what happens next. One thing that I am absolutely sure of though is that I will NEVER use them for international shipping.

Delivery was quick and the price was competitive, but the return process has been a nightmare. I returned an order on April 24 using the pre-paid shipping label that Shoes.com provided. As of today (May 23) I have yet to receive a refund or even a confirmation that my order was return was received. The pre-paid label has no tracking information on it and the USPS won't allow you to add Delivery Confirmation to it. I've called customer service 6 times now and every time I'm told to just wait a little longer. Once I was told that a supervisor would call me back, but I never received a phone call. Personally, I would never shop at Shoes.com again. Zappos is much better in my opinion.

shoes.com has got to be the best shoe site on the web. You can search by color, size etc. The site is easy to navigate, good graphics, huge selection. Shipping is on time and reasonably priced. Will go back again and again without looking at the other guys.

I placed an order on 9/10 evening for a Saucony running shoes which was on sale with 43% OFF and free UPS ground shipping. I received email confirmation with UPS tracking number on 9/12. The package was delivered on 9/14. The shoes were excellent as advertised. Will place order again in the future.


They are liars. I placed an order on 6/24 and I haven't received it yet. Today I got an email with a title 'Return Processed' and saying "We are sorry that your order did not meet your expectations. A return/credit has been issued to your account.". I called and finally found out my order was cancelled because they thought the price they listed was too low! This is the worse shopping experience I've ever had and I will never buy from them again. Liars!


They lied to everyone. Ordered shoes on 6/24 then on 6/27 I get an email saying sorry you didn't like your order and your return has been recieved. How is that when I never got anything in the first place? This was my first time ordering from shoes.com and will be my last. Don't make the same mistake I did!!


I was attracted to the lowest price guarantee on shoes.com website that prompted me to purchase a pair of slippers from them instead of zappos.com (zappos.com had it on sale for $20 less). I placed an order after 10pm CST (after business hours for their customer service). So, I followed instruction to send them an email with the proper link and the lower price on zappos. I called shoes.com this morning to check on the price matching status. They said that zappos doesn't have the slippers on sale and therefore will not be able to price match the slippers. And, they will not be able to cancel my order as it is already been processed. I will have to ship it back to them. What a big hassle. And, if they cannot respond to the price matching request in a timely manner, it is really the customers' loss.
