I live in Australia and I bought a computer from a major global computer supplier that uses RDRAM. The memory is no longer available from that company and reseller prices for the RAM in Australia were very high. A quick search on the web located MemorySuppliers. I placed the order immediately. Unfortunately I got my credit card details wrong but the company was on to the issue immediately and contacted me to resolved the problem.

I, like hundreds others, have been victimized by this company. They currently owe me $539 for computer memory I sent back to them which they haven�t fully credited. Please see the e-mail trail on the next page.
Mon, 1 Jul 2002: I order 2 kits of RDRAM for the total value of $988.00 plus shipping. Since I ended up not needing the memory I returned them for a full refund. MemorySuppliers claims to have a 30 day money back guarantee. The memory modules were returned back unopened in the box they came in the same day I received them.
Monday, July 22: Accordingly to my Credit card statement less than half of the value of the shipped back memory modules had been credited. When confronting MemorySuppliers with this fact they claim that only half of the memory modules were sent back although the memory modules were not unpacked but instead promptly returned. Please note that they did not try to contact me via e-mail or phone, they just credited half the amount. Indeed questionable business practices.
Monday, July 29, 30: After sending many unanswered e-mails (note that there is no phone number they can be reached at) they will put a collection agency on the case if I try to dispute the charge with Visa.
Thursday, Aug 1: After sending them a few more e-mails they suddenly state they will credit the rest of the amount if I give them my credit card information. The credit card information was e-mailed back immediately.
Wednesday, Aug 7: A week later I receive an e-mail from MemorySuppliers where they claim that they are �having trouble� crediting the amount and they ask for the 1-800 number for my bank. They also are interested if I have started any chargeback proceedings. I respond no and ask them to send me a check since they apparently cannot credit my account electronically.
Thursday, Aug 15: Another week passes without MemorySuppliers answering e-mails. Today they ask me again for the 1-800 number. No comment why they can�t send me a check as I requested. I give them the banks telephone number.
Monday, 19 Aug: After following up I receive an e-mail from MemorySuppliers in which the claim that they �must credit my credit card� and they can�t send me a check.
As of Aug 21st no credit has been made. This is almost two months after sending back the items and three weeks after they have agreed to pay the amount. MemorySuppliers do not respond to my e-mails anymore. I hope someone can stop this company from continuing their fraudulent behavior. It has apparently been going on for several years and I have a strong feeling that this is only the top of the iceberg. |

Had great difficulty finding memory that would work for an Apple Powerbook 17". Found memorySupplier.com on line with the right part type, sent an email to check and received response within a few hours confirming it would work flawlessly. Ordered it online they then kept me up to date on the status all the way, including the USPS tracking number. The price was great, the postage cost reasonable. The memory has worked "flawlessly" since it was installed.

I ordered some PC1066 Rambus modules from this company. Their prices were not much lower than competitors (like newegg.com), but they sold CRIMM's, which I also needed. The RDRAM they shipped me was PC800, not PC1066, and it didn't even work. It took me a while to figure out that I had bad memory, and I ended up having to buy memory at a local shop for a higher price, because my workstation was down. I am extremely irate. I didn't buy here because it was the cheapest, I bought there because they had CRIMM's too, which are hard to find. And they ripped me off. I am getting the same run-around as everyone else - lies about shipping, bad product, product is different than what I ordered, and product does not work. I do not expect a refund, so I am disputing the charge with my bank, and have also contacted Illinois State Attorney General's office. I am updating my earlier scathing review of MemorySuppliers.com as a direct result of some extraordinary and personalized follow-up from Yan, the Customer Service Director at MemorySuppliers. I had ordered 2 Sandisk 2GB Cruzer Titanium Flash Drives on 8/12/06, and received 2 cheesy-looking flimsy flash drives on 8/22 that were NOT precisely what I ordered. When I called into Customer Service, I spoke with a Representative who seemed incapable or uninterested in dealing with my delivery problem and dissatisfaction. In a very angry state of mind, I took the opportunity to immediately express my negative feelings regarding my transaction miseries using the seller-requested ratings services of ResellerRatings.com.
Within 24 hours of sending in a �Very Dissatisfied� ResellerRatings.com review earlier this week, I received a call from Yan, who had obviously been paying attention to the incoming traffic from ResellerRatings.com, and had received a Preview Copy of my dismal ratings of his company, based on my very disappointing purchasing and transaction experiences. Following a thorough, direct, open and honest exchange of my on-line purchasing experience with his firm, Yan committed to me that he would personally ensure his company made good on its obligation to me, and that I would receive the correctly-ordered product via Express Overnight Shipping, without further delay. He was also sincerely concerned with ensuring my complete satisfaction with his firm, apologizing profusely about my earlier experiences.
Good to his word, within 24 hours I received the Express Shipment, with the correct Sandisk 2GB Cruzer Titanium Flash Drives. I then asked for a refund and was promised that my account would be credited...another lie. When pressed for the refund, Memory Suppliers now needed my credit card data again...no phone number provided, domain search found a automated telephone answering service and I was trapped in an endless loop of mindless, misleading emails. I have since turned the matter over to my credit card company, filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and am now attempting to warn others of the unethical practices demonstrated by Memory Suppliers. My experience with memorysuppliers.com was rather frustrating. Here are the pros and cons of my attempt to make a purchase from them:
Pros:
1) Order verification email was prompt and informative.
2) Service representatives were friendly and attempted to be helpful both via email and phone. I have no complaints here.
3) The listed price for the product was good.
4) The memory arrived appropriately packaged and in a reasonable timeframe.
5) After I returned the incorrectly filled order, they credited my account without prompting after they couldn�t ship the correct part immediately.
Cons/Issues:
1) They shipped me the wrong memory.
2) My return package sat for a week before it was processed.
3) Emails for support and RMA took 2-3 business days to be answered (but were friendly and helpful when they arrived).
4) Trying to find out the correct way to remedy my situation wasn't clearly listed on the website. (Do you do an RMA for an exchange or is that only for returns? Send an email to the support department?) I ended up having to find a phone number to call, but that wasn�t where I expected it to be.
5) In order to get a partial refund on my return shipping, I have been asked to follow up with extra "proof" emails even though I been told I would receive a refund in a previous email exchange. Since it was their shipping error and they already have the incorrect memory back in their hands this isn't acceptable.
6) Although their site says that the correct memory is "In Stock for Same Day Shipping", the representative says they don't have any of the correct memory to fulfill the order. Something is out of sync here. When I first called to report the error the correct memory was in stock and if they would have shipped it immediately I�d be a happy customer now.
Summary: If you chose to order from them and get the right memory I�m guessing you�ll be a happy customer. After a little reflection, I think the main reason that they only get a middle-of-the-road grade is because of how long it took to resolve as opposed to the actual resolution. If the whole transaction had taken only 7-10 days and was not much of a hassle for me I would probably consider another purchase from them. A month is excessive, though. I think they are basically well-meaning and was initially encouraged by their support representatives' replies, but my overall experience wasn't good enough to earn repeat business. |

On 05/24/2003 I ordered computer memory. The website said it was in stock and available for same day shipping. I paid extra for 2nd day air delivery. On 05/29/2003 a long distance call was placed; they said that the memory had not yet been shipped. A "mistake" had been made. I cancelled the order. I don't know if they ever had the product. I will not order from these people again, and I would advise other consumers to also avoid this merchant. |

I purchased a 2GB compact flash typeII microdrive and was having difficulties with the microdrive. As per their web site, I sent an email requesting an RMA to return the drive. After two days, no reply, I sent another email to tech support requesting their assistance for a RMA to return the drive. I received an answer giving me trival information regarding the formatting of the drive. I answered the email stating that I knew the drive required formatting and that was the area where I was having difficulties. Another email for a RMA and I received an email telling me to contact the manufacturer of the drive (Hitachi) as they would exchange the drive sooner that MemorySuppliers. What a crock, all this was within the 1st week. Their site has the following notation at the bottom of the page, "* YOUR ABSOLUTE SATISFACTION IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY AND WE ARE HERE TO HELP WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS THAT MIGHT ARISE." If you must deal with this company, BEWARE, they speak with a forked tongue. I learned my lesson, I will never buy from them again, nor will any of my friends in the Macintosh User groups or the camera club I am a member. |

When I originally ordered, MemorySuppliers confirmed I would receive a Kingston 256MB/PC2100 SODIMM for my Dell Inspiron 1100. The chip received was a no-name, not Kingston, and the computer would not boot up with this chip installed, in any configuration.
A replacement chip, by the same unknown manufacturer would not work either. The invoice said it was Samsung, but it wasn't. So far, I am out of pocket $50.80 and have a worthless chip.
The claim to pay for your return postage on returns, but haven't in my case. I will not buy from them again. |

I purchased memory for my laptop. When the memory arrived, it wouldn't work and it turned out that it was defective. No big deal, I thought, thanks to MemorySupplier.com's comprehensive satisfaction guarantee. However, when I first contacted Tech Support about the problem, I did not hear back from them. I e-mailed Customer Service a week later and was eventually set up with a RMA number to return the defective memory. I was also told that in addition to shipping a replacement, my shipping costs for returning the defective memory would be refunded. A week after they had received the defective item, I still had not heard from them. A few days later I received an e-mail saying the replacement module had been shipped, and indeed I received it about a week later.
However, MemorySuppliers.com failed to credit me the costs of shipping the defective memory back to them. After writing them an e-mail about it, I was told I would see the credit in my account within ten business days. More than ten business days later there was still no sign of the credit. Only after I threatened contacting my credit card company to resolve the issue was I issued the refund for shipping back the faulty memory. It took more than 45 days from their receipt of the defective product, and lots of hassle on my part, until they credited the amount they owed me. Not good business practice, I say! |

I was delighted to find that I was sent a 60 Gbyte 7200 RPM hard drive as a "No Charge Upgrade" (stamped on the filled order) to the 40 Gbyte 7200 RPM hard drive that I ordered from MemorySuppliers.com for my laptop. After installing the hard drive and my OS, everything seems to be working fine.

I was referred to memorysuppliers.com via a price comparision link on NexTag.com I searched there for a specific premium memory upgrade for Toshiba Laptop. Toshiba recommended Kingston Memory part no. "KTT-3614/256".
MemorySuppliers.com advertised/listed themselves on NexTag.com search/result page for that specific product part no. for $45.00 . When go to complete sale at MemorySupplier.com, their price is actually $49.00, (not to bad so far).
But, after I place order I get suspicious because their part no. is now different from what I searched in NexTag.
Since they don't publish a phone number, I emailed 2 times within minutes of placing order to have them confirm is actually the premium part I ordered; else cancel the order. 24 hours later they email me that the part is OEM/generic; no mention of cancelling order per my instructions.
I immediately email them again instructing them to cancel the order. 24 hours later, they inform me that item has already been shipped. Oh well, AMEX will cover me, but why do businesses have to behave like this. SHAME on them.
This company does not deserve anybody's business. Avoid at all costs. Heck, for generic memory your can find them cheaper anywhere than here. JMK |

I received the memory, installed it and while the newly constructed PC came up fine it started having segment faults while I was rebuilding the kernel (it's runniing OpenBSD, UNIX). Turns out one dimm is bad. At this point, I look at it closely and its NOT Samsung memory. It turns out to be something else. Be sure to check your shipment before installing carefully!!! In under 30 mins, I got a response saying they added what I wanted. Living in Hawaii, it is nice to have shipping options, particularly use of USPS vs. UPS or FedEx only. That way, you can dispute the entire amount. I just wanted them to cancel my order on day 5, but they shipped it on day 18 instead. Then they would not answer any of my e-mails anymore even after I disputed the entire amount with VISA. So, since my order was Totally FREE, I guess it ended up being a good experience. What a bunch of monkey's!
Also, take the postings here on any company with a grain of salt. I really don't think many people actually take their time to come to a forum like this and post a good experience. So, it might be easier to judge the company by the quantity of postings, rather than the overall score. Cheers! |

At first I was hesitant about ordering Memory online, yet this site was very easy to navigate and explained everythign up front (unlike other sites), and then as I was checking out I was given the calculated shipping cost and the actual amount billed to my CC, rather than a "Up to cost estimate). The product arrived within a week even though I did not choose the rush shipment and the product was well protected and fit my camera and is taking great photos.
I would give this location an overall rating of a 9.99% (I don't like to give out perfect 10's. |

I purchased two 128MB memory modules for my 5-year-old PC.
MemorySuppliers.com provided a very detailed description of their product so
I could confidently compare it to my computer manufacturer's memory
specifications. They e-mailed the USPS tracking number, but delivery was so
quick the parcel arrived before I even found time to check delivery status.
I installed the memory using my computer manufacturer's instructions but at
half of their price. It was plug and play, the PC recognized it and it
solved my low-memory problem. |

i ordered IBM 512MB microdrive card and usb card reader. it was delivered within a week but neither one of the two items was the one i ordered. they sent me no name brand compact flash card instead of IBM microdrive and also different type of card reader than listed on their web site. they replied an email saying:
"The card you have received is indeed a high speed compact flash card (exactly what the microdrive is trying to emulate with a moving hard drive). It is a lot faster, more reliable, made with higher quality, and works at all altitudes unlike the microdrive. Please do test it out and it is guaranteed to work better than your initial expectations of the microdrive."
i didnt test its speed but so far it works with my canon s60 i finally decided not to return it.
i would not buy from them again! |

You'll be wasting your time and money dealing with MemorySuppliers.Com!!! These guys have false advertisements and are best at one thing: screwing up folks who don't know about them.
I read their so-so rating before I ordered from them and saw some warnings but thought I would give them a try because I thought I would get an excellent price. I ordered 2 Samsung memory modules from them (http://www.memorysuppliers.com/sam51pc26200.html and back then the price was $109, now they're listead at $99 each). They sent me some cheap non-brand names that didn't even work on my laptop (caused BSOD about 4 times in a period of 5 minutes after I put these memory chips in). When I told him I'm returning the modules, they didn't even apologize nor offer me to send in the correct ones which seem to indicate that they never had the advertised Samsung modules and was just attracting people with the brand names (I know Samsung chips are good ones). I ended up getting directly from Crucial for about $30 more (the difference largely due to the sales tax they charged that MemorySuppliers didn't have to charge).
The process of getting the refund was also not smooth. So far, I had 2 separate partial credits. As of this writing, they haven't credited me back the cost to ship the wrong items back to them just like some of the other posters in this forum (read: it's MemorySuppliers' own fault and you have to pay for their false advertisements and bad business practices???).
As per their site: 'All products sold by Memory Suppliers may be returned for refund within 30 days of purchase. Memory Suppliers will also cover shipping back to us for up to $4.95.' (http://www.memorysuppliers.com/info.html) is clearly part of their policy. Their CSR (Robert Spring) also clearly indicated 'Unfortunately the initial shipping charges of $4.95 are not refundable, but the shipping charges back to us are (up to $4.95).'
Robert Spring and MemorySuppliers, you guys don't even hold up to your own policy. My CC company will be following up with you guys. The shipping cost is a small amount but you guys are clearly not doing good business practices by defrauding customers who wanted to give you guys a chance.
I wonder if the ones who have given them positive feedback really had a good experience or they just don't know that they've been cheated somehow. It also makes me curious as to how many times they gave themselves good ratings here (regardless of that fraud warning).

False advertising regarding stock. Postage reimbursement still pending.
I ordered 1gb samsung sodimm ram for my dell laptop. I was shipped a cheap generic ram instead. They apologized and I had to ship it back at a cost of $7.50 to me. They reshipped and again did not send Samsung but a substitute that they decided was appropriate. No email or prior permission was sought on their part.
I still have not been reimbursed the postage for their mistakes. I have given up on getting Samsung memory from them.
Their website still advertises Samsung and indicates it is in stock.
Take the time to read other dissatisfied reviews from the past and you will see that this company has a history of doing this. Even their own rma invoice stated "samsung only" and still someone made their own substitution.
IF you get what you order, consider yourself very fortunate. I was given a toll free number-866-621-2223. Still no help. They insist on email communication regarding rma's. If you feel lucky, then roll the dice.
