Meteos Reader Review by Egamer93 - February 18, 2007 - Q Entertainment does it again! In this fast-paced, action-packed puzzle game, you fight against the evil planet Meteo. In order to destroy the planet, you must collect the falling matter, called meteos, and align them in rows of three in order to blast them into space. This game quickly becomes addictive and challenging, and has a really high replay value. I also love how there is a storyline that isn't afraid to get a little goofy. Like how in one particular ending, the meteos...

Meteos Reader Review by SageMithos - Not many puzzle games bother with storylines, but Meteos doesn't settle for convention. In fact, the game is so bold as to deftly mix cute, colorful graphics with the threat of a science fiction apocalypse in it s entertainingly epic introductory cutscene. The planet Meteo, a seething eye-shaped thing that could probably stare Sauron down, spews forth a deadly rain of fragments called meteos, which annihilate practically everything that gets in their way. By some chance, a planet survives the...

Meteos Reader Review by Zeyann - The gameplay is simple. Align three or more of the same color blocks to shoot them out of the screen into space. However, the more blocks te ignited Meteos are supporting, the more power is needed to push them up, constantly asking your attention for firing up as many Meteos as possible. It starts out slow but the action can get really intense, even so that it would be impossible to do without touch screen (even though the game supports non-stylus play). The planets you play on also affect how...

Meteos Reader Review by gamedudeplayer - The story of the game is presented in a beautifully done opening cutscene if you leave the title screen alone for around 3 seconds. The basic concept is that there is a planet called Meteo that is sending Meteos throughout the universe to destroy planets. One time, just by coincidence, three meteos of the same color lined up and turned into rockets and flew off back into space. The civilizations created a plan to launch counterattacks by fusing meteos. One civilization created the Metamo Ark,...

Meteos Reader Review by nintendods_10 - The Graphics coulden't have benn better for this game because a 3-D puzzler is so boring. It coulden't have been made for the GBA because were not blocky at all (you know what I mean)

Meteos Reader Review by pacokorn77 - As the story goes, there's a galazy, a few hundred planets, one of them (Meteos) feels like his s*** don't stink, and decides to destroy every other planet. To do this, he (as if a planet has it's own psyche) launches a bombardment of rocks at the other planets. Each one is left defenseless, as they have nothing to protect themselves with. And by the magic touch of Lady Luck, 3 indentical rocks line up and they launch back at Meteos. They get on the horn and tell all the other planets what to...

Meteos Reader Review by pappajohn - I think the choices for the SFX add a nice depth to the feel of the game. The music might have you humming some new tunes on the can in the morning after a night of playing this one. Great job!

Meteos Reader Review by scoogsy - For anyone who may have spied a peek at Meteos enviously behind their mate who ownes a DS, your fears of being left out of something fun and different were probably quelled when you saw what you thought was just a simple Tetris rip off being played. Rapid stylus movement followed by an array of strange sounds and small explosions may have held your attention briefly, but the obvious similarites between Meteos's interface and that of Tetris probably leave the average consumer the task of looking...

Meteos Reader Review by spiffy17 - I can't believe I've had to wait this long in a review to talk about the multiplayer. In a word, it's awesome. If you're playing with other players who own the game, the meteos you launch will count towards your bank. If you're playing single card mode, this isn't the case, but the game is just as exciting. Human opponents give you something to humiliate when you win, and this feeling is very satisfying in Meteos.
